National Women of Achievement, Incorporated awards scholarships to support graduating high school students with tuition, fees, books, and more. Recipients are selected based on their academic record, essays, letters of recommendation, leadership skills, community service, and extracurricular activities. We are proud to award scholarships annually to outstanding high school students. Over the past decade, National Women of Achievement has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to deserving students. In addition to our National Scholarship, each of our 30 chapters across the U.S. offers opportunities for academic support.
Our scholarship process is competitive. National Women of Achievement (NWOA) does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, or gender in its programs or activities. To be considered for an NWOA National Scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, or technical institute in the fall semester immediately following the application.
The following information will be used for scholarship consideration:
1. On-time submission of a completed National Scholarship application form
2. GPA and SAT/ACT scores
3. Community service; extracurricular activities engagement
4. Leadership roles held
5. Essay (based on topic provided)
6. Letters of recommendation (received on time)
7. Honors and Awards received
