National Women of Achievement, Incorporated

is a non-profit service organization established in 1975 in Houston, Texas. The founder, Maudest Walls Stewart, had a vision to encourage youth and women to strive for excellence, to maintain high moral and ethical standards, and to make outstanding contributions in the fields of medicine, law, religion, business, politics, music, education, dentistry and other career fields of their choice.

Today, National Women Of Achievement, Inc. is a national network of chapters that have a proud history of encouraging youth through its scholarship program and recognizing outstanding community leaders through the annual “Profiles of Prominence” events. The membership consists of professional women who are individual achievers and have made a difference through their community involvement, employment, and professional affiliations.
